PTSLUG Workshop (Special Interest Group-SIG)
Secrets of the Mac Part 4
Productivity Tips to speed up your computing experience, with Michael McKee.

Topics will include Getting full value from the Dock, What your mother never told you about drag and drop, Secrets of the Services Menu, Keyboard shortcuts, as well as tips that will make your email and web browsing faster and easier, playing media files in the Finder and more.

No special software will be needed as the shortcuts work through the Mac operating system or with included Apple programs.

This free workshop (SIG) is available to the general public as well as PTSLUG members. Join us from 7 to 9 PM on Friday, January 18th at the WSU NOP computer lab in the Shold Business Park off Rhody Drive in Port Hadlock. Since there are only 9 iMacs in the lab, those with laptops are encouraged to bring them. Also as space is limited, if you plan to attend please let Francesca Drum know via email, so she can insure a place for you: Francesca is at fdrum@olympus.net. Please tell her if you plan to bring your own laptop.

Important Note: Because of the popularity of these workshops we must limit the number of attendees to the first 9 people to RSVP for the desktop computer space and the first 4 people bringing their own laptops. Please tell us which type of computer you will be using. If you are a couple and you both can use the same computer please let us know as well. That will allow us to have another person attend. When we reach the limit on space available (9 and 4) we will put any additional attendees on a standby list. If you have signed up and cannot make it please let us know so we can assign the space to another person.
